State of the Environment
State of the Environment (SoE) Reporting is required under Chapter 13 of the Local Government Act 1993. All NSW councils are also required to produce a Management Plan with respect to Council's activities which must include a statement of principal activities including particulars in response to, and to address priorities identified in, the Council's current comprehensive report as to the state of the environment.
A comprehensive SoE Report is to be prepared for the year ending after each election of the councillors for it's area, with a supplementary report produced each year in between. A new report is expected for 2012 and will be combined with all NOROC Councils.
