On this page you will find current Development Proposals available for public comment and a list of the recent Development Consents issued by Council.

 Development Proposals
As the consenting authority, Richmond Valley Council has received the following Development Applications for consideration.  The Development Application and Statement of Environmental Effects may be inspected at Council’s Office, Cnr Walker Street & Graham Place, Casino 8.15am to 5pm, Monday to Friday or Council’s Evans Head Office from 9am to 12 noon and 1pm to 4pm, Monday to Thursday.

Amendments to Local Government and Planning Legislation now require the public disclosure of donations or gifts when lodging or commenting on development proposals.  Anyone lodging or commenting on a development proposal will be required to disclose any political donations or gifts they have made in the two years preceding the application. Disclosure statements are available from Council’s offices in Casino and Evans Head or on the Political Donations/Gifts page. Written submissions in respect of any application, quoting DA number and location will be accepted by Council until 4.30pm on the date specified in the column below.  Any submissions received will be considered on their merits in conjunction with the assessment of the application.
